It is admirable to hav...I echo Jen's comments. It is admirable to have so much self-discipline. And layers are the only way to go. In winter here, I always wear a cami (with wide not skinny straps, more like a t-shirt) + a thin sweater/t/top, then a cardigan or vest. Coat is a warmer one in the am, which means having another coat in car. Montana is so much colder than Portland, although the dampness there could make them about equal. So many over weight people I know are always hot, that fat does insulate. Can't imagine how cold I would be if I lost 23 lbs!
